QTabPanel with Jquery UI for Qcubed

QTabPanel-Jquery-UI.JPG

Five weeks ago I did a new implementation for QTabPanel to simply his usage and add new options, this implementation used JQuery, but users reported problems with IE7 (big surprise).

Due QCubed now implement Jquery UI as part of the core, OOPMan did an implementation using this JQuery package.

But after try to implement the OOPMan solution with out success.

I did some changes in the class and other tweaks to try implement in a easy way :P IMHO.

List of changes:

  • Jquery UI Implemented (OOPMAN contribution)
  • Create a QTabSection class (one object per tab)
  • Auto Add control (We just need pass the QTabSection as Parent control)

This change was tested on FF3,IE7,IE8, Chrome and Opera

Could you check at http://qcubed.anexusit.com/examples/advanced_ajax/tab_panel.php

To Do:

  • Test on IE6 and Safari
  • Add content cache.
  • Improve options/properties

To implement last change is necessary implement ticket # http://trac.qcu.be/projects/qcubed/attachment/ticket/256

In order to enable the custom style sheet by control.

Attached in this post could you find a zip installer and a patch against QCubed 1.1

Enjoy IT
